Nweke Holding Company Ltd and its subsidiaries conduct transactions in Nigerian Naira (₦) as the primary operating currency. For continental and international transactions, foreign currency payments may be accepted subject to applicable regulations and banking policies.
Currency Basis
All local (Nigeria) transactions are processed in Nigerian Naira (₦).
International invoices may be issued in USD, EUR, GBP, or other agreed currencies.
Where payments are made in a currency different from the invoice currency, exchange conversion will apply.
Exchange Rate Determination
Foreign currency conversions are based on:
The prevailing exchange rate provided by our banking partner at the time of transaction processing; or
The official rate published by the Central Bank of Nigeria where applicable.
Exchange rates may fluctuate daily, and final billed amounts may vary slightly due to:
Bank processing time
Payment gateway conversion fees
International transfer charges
Responsibility for Charges
Customers are responsible for:
International bank transfer fees
Correspondent bank charges
Currency conversion costs
Any applicable cross-border transaction fees
The Company shall not be liable for discrepancies arising from third-party financial institutions.
Refunds in Foreign Currency
Where refunds are approved:
Refunds will be processed in the original payment currency where feasible.
The amount refunded may differ due to exchange rate fluctuations between payment and refund dates.
Any intermediary bank fees remain the responsibility of the customer.
Regulatory Compliance
All foreign currency transactions are conducted in compliance with applicable Nigerian foreign exchange regulations and anti-money laundering requirements.
The Company reserves the right to request additional documentation for international payments where required by law or banking institutions.
